The Paperbook Collective | Issue Seven

Hello everyone.

As you might have noticed, I have been appallingly absent from the WordPress halls.

You might have also noticed that it is February 5th today.

And I am four days late in publishing Issue Seven of The Paperbook Collective.

Here is the apology part of the post: I am very sorry!

And the thank you: You guys are all awesome for waiting so patiently!

I won’t bore you with the who’s and the why’s and the when’s; rather I will get straight into the good stuff.

Issue Seven has arrived!

Here it is, in all its February glory.

As always, I think the quality of work sent in is incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed putting this issue together, despite the delays.

I do hope you enjoy reading it.

Cheers, and happy February everyone!

    • Thanks for reblogging Pamela! I loved John and Marie’s pieces as always. I hope you will get a chance to submit more of your awesome work this year!

    • Thanks Marie for being a part of The Paperbook Collective again! Yes, I remember you had trouble reblogging last month as well. Very strange…and annoying!

      • I’ve been having odd little problems with WP, but at least I found another way to reblog your post πŸ™‚

  3. This is great, Jayde! As usual. But I didn’t expect anything else from you and all co workers! This time there was no time even to think about it for me. I also didn’t have anything to submit. Not much photography this time of the year if the weather is against you. I might try for the next issue if there is room for me!

    • Leya, there is always room for you in The Paperbook Collective! I know how busy this time of year is, hence the reason I put the issue out late. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to showcase your photography in TPC this year!

  4. Jayde, thank you! I loved what you did with my poem. Here’s my latest update on the second-hand books front: just found a first edition hardback copy of “The Night Circus” by Erin Morganstern. This, and issue seven of your zine have made my day πŸ™‚

    • That’s awesome Katie! First edition – lucky you! Now I’m really jealous that there are no second hand bookstores that I can visit today…

I’m so glad that you like issue seven. πŸ™‚ Your poem was beautiful!

  5. Reblogged this on Born Again Writer and commented:
In December, I informed you that 2014 was going to be my year for collaborations. My first collaboration is a poem published in Issue seven of The Paperbook Collective Zine. This zine celebrates writers and poets from around the world. It’s well worth a read. The new issue is available now.

  6. Thanks once again Jayde for all your hard work in putting out the Paperbook Collective…I was wondering if perhaps it wouldn’t be a good idea to publish on the 5th of the month instead of the 1st. Gives you a couple of extra days for breathing πŸ™‚

  7. Enjoyed it very much, Jayde– and the Valentines Day theme with a twist. Really liked the still life orange photo. Good job, as always. –Curt

  8. Reblogged this on Paint the world with words and commented:
The Paperbook Collective Issue 8 is out! It is an amazing & creative endeavor by Jayde & I thank her for letting me contribute to her magazine this time again. Guys, I’ve contributed to the magazine & my work is “Lifetime”. Do have a look, all of you & have fun!:)
