There is all sorts of cool shit happening out in the blogosphere.
You only need to log onto your WordPress Reader in the morning to be inundated with endless amounts of wonderful new ideas and initiatives.
I thought I would take a moment to share with you the ones I know about, and hopefully you will do the same.
So here is what I have been keeping an eye on, in between university and publishing new issues of The Paperbook Collective.
wePoets Show It.
Who: wePoets Show It.
What: An interactive online community designed to showcase writers, poets, artists, published books and photography. They have a really cool rotation of themes and posts on their blog, make sure you swing by and take a look.
First Round’s On Us.
Who: Sahm King (and contributors).
What: A poetry e-book which includes the work of nine different collaborators, self-published by Sahm King. This anthology offers something for everyone, for all levels of appreciation. I threw in a link to their Facebook page as it is very cool, you should definitely check it out.
Black Bottom Review.
Who: Paula, Allison and Krystal.
What: An online magazine for up and coming poets, writers and artists. They publish the magazine each September, January and May, so be sure to keep an eye out for their upcoming issue.
The Tophat Raven.
Who: Oloriel Moonshadow.
Where: WordPress ~ The Tophat Raven.
What: This is a brand new e-zine by one of The Paperbook Collective’s contributors. A magazine that strives to combine the beauty of the written word and visual art for both the contributor and the reader’s pleasure. Her first issue is set to debut in December, so keep an eye out for it!
The Paperbook Collective.
Who: Ok, it’s me, but I can’t really pass up an opportunity to spruik my own work, can I?
What: A free online magazine and hard copy zine which features creative work from around the globe. The final issue for 2013 is set to drop December 1st, so keep an eye out!
